1. Check the airport: BRU or CRL

Brussels Airport at Zaventem uses the code BRU. Brussels South Charleroi Airport uses CRL. They are different airports, so choosing only ‘Brussels’ can send the calculation in the wrong direction. Select the full airport name and check the journey summary before booking. For a hotel or home, include the street number and the entrance where your family will wait.

2. Count children and choose the vehicle

Eco, Green and Premium accommodate up to four passengers; the Van accommodates up to seven, subject to luggage and the confirmed seating arrangement. A baby counts as a passenger. Two adults and two children make four passengers; three adults and two children make five and require a larger vehicle. A passenger limit alone does not guarantee room for several child seats, a pushchair and large suitcases.

3. Request the child seats you need

The booking form offers baby seats, child seats and booster seats, with a maximum of three seats in total and no more than the passenger count. In the special-request field, give each child's approximate age and height and the seat requested. These details help dispatch check the arrangement; choosing an option is a request, not confirmation that a particular seat is available.

  • If you bring your own seat, mention it so the vehicle can be checked.
  • Ask dispatch to confirm any seat requirement that is not clear in your confirmation.

4. Include the pushchair and all luggage

List large suitcases, cabin bags and whether the pushchair folds. Mention bulky items before reserving, particularly with a full vehicle. A Van may be useful even for a smaller family when luggage takes more space. For the return trip, check the luggage count again rather than assuming that the outward arrangement still fits.

5. Separate pickup time from flight time

For a journey to the airport, enter the time the driver should collect you, not the flight's departure time. Allow for the road journey, family preparation and the arrival time recommended by your airline. For an airport pickup, supply the flight number and check the requested pickup time with dispatch. 6. Check the confirmation as a family

Read the airport, date, pickup address, passenger count, vehicle and accepted fare together. Check that your special request was received and that the required seats are confirmed.
